In January, especially in early January, the only hotel of the island is closed, and apart from that, there are only a handful of possible rentals. The good news is that there ar not that many potential tourists then, so they ar pretty much all available. The choices are below.
Location of House #1
This house is on the south dock of the island, see photograph on the right. It offers a number of apartments spread over its 4 levels.

The house
This house located close to the northern shore, on the northern edge of the village (see photograph on the right), offers very comfortable apartments on 3 levels. Some of these apartments are duplexes.

PARIS
In the Heart of Paris
* I and the two original signees on this tour, are flying one day early, as I need to take care of some Paris Logistical issues on Jan 2nd. I do have two single rooms available for the night of Jan 2nd if you want to join us, and can check on a room for two if that's your party. Lunch and dinner are planned for that day.
* You can choose the option of Room, as well as "Follow Me in Paris", in which you follow me in Paris in casual walking around the city. I will be hunting for photographs, and shopping along the way, if suitable. You can come along, and lunch will be included. Not a shabby lunch, wine or cider from my imports will be there, but probably nothing gastronomic, just hearty food. You may also just choose the lunch option and meet us there, or do your own program. Dinners are included every night in the tour.
Please note that "Following Me in Paris," may entail a fair amount of walking. We will take buses, subway if we go far, but that would be somewhat uncommon. Of course you may always leave leave if you are tired, and uber yourself back to the hotel or use the metro or buses, that I will then indicate.

This Hotel is located rue Jacob, so between the Blvd Saint Germain and the Seine River, a rather central location in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés, close to Le Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, and not far from Notre Dame for instance.
This hotel has around 44 rooms, which is an ideal and not so common size in the ultra center of Paris. I like this middle size hotel, as it offers a very good personal care, as well as excellent security, yet I can take 10 rooms and they still have more than 30 left for all the other customers. This hotel is also very well managed and no detail or issue is ignored.
I have developed a very tight connection with the management, which offers me a few perks, and altogether I feel that it would be very challenging to find a better value in Paris very center.
The hotel will provide you with water, flat or carbonated produced environmentally. A mini fridge is in every bedroom as well as a hair dryer.
The breakfast is satisfying and heart warming, an opportunity to exchange in the morning before hitting with the day. See photograph on right.
Paris Hotel: Classique Single Room
Standard courtside rooms with 1 large bed (130 x 190 cm), bathroom with a stand-up shower, toilet, sink and hair dryer.
Size of the room is about 120 sq. feet (11 sq. meters).
These rooms have a floor fan, but no A/C.
These is the room category included in the single accommodation supplement of the tour.
Check with me at booking if you are taking the single accommodation and would like to upgrade to a different room category, so that I may see what is available.

Superior rooms, offer a pleasing alternative to the Classic rooms. They are more spacious (about 15m2), have a queen size bed and air conditioning.
These are the rooms included in the tour for double accommodation.
Additional night, per room, not per person, including breakfast and occupancy tax:
* January 2nd: $450.
* January 11, 12: $395.
* Tour upgrade for this type of room, from single occupation supplement during regular tour dates: $570.
I have 3 Supérieure Rooms left for the tour, and I can check for you, if you want one for January 2nd.
Paris Hotel: Deluxe Room
The Hotel offers its Deluxe rooms, each designed to showcase the rich variety of styles offered by interior design à la française. Thus, each has its own unique décor featuring antique furniture. These are large and beautiful rooms (about 20m2) with a small seating area.
Beds are Queen (street side) or King or twin (courtyard side)

Prestige rooms that are spacious (from 25 to 30m2) and designed in a more modern style. The district’s finest creatives, including Julie Prisca (furniture), Nobilis (wallpaper) and Manuel Canovas (curtains), helped to make these rooms particularly elegant. The bathrooms, which each have a window overlooking the courtyard, are also large and luxurious. You will particularly appreciate the comfort and convenience of a separate bath and shower arrangement.

PARIS DAYS OPTIONS:
Please note that the "Follow Me In Paris" option, require a fair amount lot of walking, probably between 10K to 15K steps each day. Of course it is always possible for you to cut the day short and go back to the hotel.
FOLLOW ME IN PARIS:

This will consist of casual walking around the city, and we will not start early, nor finish late probably. I will be hunting for photographs, and shopping along the way, if suitable. Chances are high that we will hit my hat store, my tea store, and where I buy shirts, socks, show polish, etc. You can come along, and lunch will be included. Not a shabby lunch, wine or cider from my imports will be there, but probably nothing gastronomic, just hearty food. We will most likely have a drink somewhere in the afternoon, and people watch.
You may also just choose the lunch option and meet us there, or spend your day totally freely. Dinners are included every night in the tour.
