It is possible to extend your stay in Paris beyond the dates of the Tour, see below, and you could also go wherever you'd like on your own and come back to Paris to fly back.
* I can book for you additional nights in the hotel where we stay in Paris for $320 in double, $260 in single, including breakfast.
* You can choose the option of Room and Meet for Dinner, in which you follow your own desires all day and meet us for dinner: add $125 per person to the price of the room above.
* You may want to participate in my Paris Itinerary which I guide and is as follows:
Please note that this itinerary entails a fair amount of walking. We will take buses mostly when people are tired or if we need to speed up of for long distances. This itinerary may evolve in function of the dynamic of the group, the weather and opportunities.
DAY 11 Sunday June 24 Trocadéro Tour Eiffel Lunch Tour Eiffel Champs Elysées Montmartre Diner
DAY 12 June 25 Walk to Notre Dame Notre dame Palais Royal Lunch Le Louvre (outside) Petit Carrousel Jardin des Tuileries Place Vendôme Grands Magasin Apéritif on the Grands Boulevards Dinner Chartier (a grand restaurant from the Belle Epoque for all Parisians. The food is ok, nothing more, but the style and atmosphere are unique, you will find yourself back in 1920 in no time)
DAY 13 June 26 This day we have lunch in a rare gem of a small restaurant, very convivial, as Parisian as it gets. It is best to go there for lunch on a weekday. Disclosure: this restaurant is so authentic that its only toilet is a turk one. When I was growing up these were still the norm, although now they are kind of an oddity. There will be more modern bathrooms everywhere else, but you should know what to expect. Turkish toilets BTW, are supposed to be more hygienic, and other than that the restaurant meets all proper standards, in an authentic package. Their food and wine have won them the respect of most Parisians in the know.
Walk to Pont des Arts Back to Saint Germain des Près Saint Sulpice Bus to restaurant Lunch Jardin du Luxembourg Quartier Vavin Montparnasse
Special Dinner at my friend's Philippe Lambert in his Montparnasse's apartment. Philippe was born in Durham, although I did not know that until I moved here, he was first a customer, then became a friend. He grew up in Montréal, and is perfectly bilingual. The dinner will be catered by a top notch south west restaurant (Basque), we will have the wines of the tour, and Philippe will treat us with some accordion, as he is a rather accomplished modern style accordion player.
$650 per person per day if group is of at least 4.
These prices are all inclusive like the rest of the tour, in double accommodation, and therefore include, hotel, meals, drinks , bus, entrance fees etc.
SINGLE ACCOMMODATION
* Single accommodation supplement during my Paris itinerary is $110. per day (as the rest of the cost of the room is included in the normal price of the itinerary).
